The AMA Minnesota Graphic Designer will help create visual content for AMA Minnesota’s marketing initiatives (e.g. Website, E-Communications, Social Media). This role will be able to access images from the AMA’s International Headquarters for content or create unique content. This position requires 3 - 8 hours of volunteer work a month.
Do you have a passion for writing original content that pertains to the marketing field? Grow your audience by becoming a contributor to the AMA Minnesota blog. You will get the byline with a link to your bio. Your posts will be shared on all of AMA Minnesota's social media channels and highlighted in the AMA Minnesota member newsletter. We are looking for people to write event recaps, book reviews, trend analysis, and more!
Do you have experience using Google Analytics to drive SEO and content development? We are looking for someone with knowledge of Google Analytics, but you don't have to be an expert. In this role, you will look at the data, create funnels, track conversions, and make recommendations for content based on data.
Membership Drive Strategy
The AMA Minnesota Membership Drive Role is a great opportunity to showcase your creativity. You would plan the AMA Minnesota Membership drive(s) and lead additional efforts to convert event/program guests and qualified prospects into members. Additional responsibilities include following-up with all guests to thank them for attending our event and to give them info regarding becoming a member. This position requires approximately 3 - 8 hours of volunteer work a week and monthly committee meetings.
Do you love event planning? The AMA Minnesota Membership Event Coordinator plans and executes the Membership committee events ranging from New Member Orientations to Speed Networking events. The coordinator will select topics and possible speakers while coordinating the location, AV needs, and food & beverages for the events. This position requires 3 - 8 hours of volunteer work a week and monthly committee meetings.
Membership Liaison Volunteer
The AMA Minnesota Membership Liaison attends AMA Minnesota events and help to promote the AMA Minnesota to non-members. Provide your personal testimony of how the AMA has helped you professionally. A sign up list is available so you only have to attend events that fit into your schedule. You will be provided with training on AMA membership benefits to help ease your experience. This low commitment position only requires a positive and enthusiastic attitude!
Healthcare SIG (Shared Interest Group) Event Manager
The AMA Minnesota Programming committee is looking for a volunteer to manage the 3 Healthcare specific events we have a year. An individual in this role would have strong knowledge in Healthcare marketing; working with in the Healthcare industry is a plus. Duties would include brainstorming ideas for presentation topics that would appeal to Healthcare marketers, reaching out to speakers, and coordinating venue logistics day of event.
The AMA Minnesota Programming committee is looking for an intern to help with A/V setup for Programming events throughout the year. Strong knowledge of A/V setup is preferred.
The AMA Minnesota Programming committee is always looking for new volunteers to help with managing our monthly programs. This role would be responsible for coordinating logistics with presentation venues, working with our Marketing Communications team to ensure proper promotion is executed for all events, and working with the VP & AVP of Programming to ensure all logistics are in place prior to events.
