Warecorp Profile
Growth Through Technology
www.warecorp.com
Warecorp is focused on building the client’s business through technology.
“We specialize in enabling new business models,” says Lee Rogas, one of three founding partners, along with Mike Milkovich and Chris Dykstra.
Self-described techno geeks, Rogas and his partners have created one of the fastest growing and most dynamic software and web-service companies in the Midwest. Offering strategic consulting, branding and development solutions to businesses throughout the U.S. and Europe, the company has grown from three to 70 client-focused technology experts since its founding in 2004. Yet Warecorp retains a “caffeine-laced” small-firm environment, in which partners remain actively engaged with every client. This hands-on approach, coupled with its network of offshore software developers in Eastern Europe, enables Warecorp to offer cutting-edge technology solutions uniquely customized to each client’s specific challenges.
While strong business-development strategies contribute to Warecorp’s rapid growth, referrals and word-of-mouth from satisfied customers also play a major role in the company’s success. Clients come from healthcare, publishers, manufacturers, city government, human resources, and media, among other industries. They all have something in common—they are looking for a change or need something fixed.
“We spend a lot of upfront time listening to the client, discussing their needs, understanding their business operations, and exploring how we can help them,” Rogas says. “If they are looking for a new web site, for instance, we explore who the audience is for that site and what features will bring value to them.”
Recent client successes include the American Marketing Association Minnesota, for which Warecorp launched a new web site that has enabled the association to recruit new members and improve communication with existing members. Other clients include the Minute Clinic, for which Warecorp built flexible on-line technology that helped the clinic handle its rapid patient growth in the Twin Cities.
Warecorp measures its own success by its clients’ success.
“We aren’t after quick fixes,” Rogas says. “We are looking for long-term professional relationships to create real value for our clients. When a client’s business goals are being met and they are experiencing a ROI, we know we’ve had a successful project.”
