MN AMA Event Payment Policy
If you choose to register in advance for an event, we require your payment or guarantee via credit card prior to the event date. Registration at the door is also available for events with open seats. If you choose to register at the door, you’ll be required to pay at the door. Payment can be made by personal or company check, cash or credit card. Sorry, we do not invoice for advance or door registrations.
If you register as a member and we determine that you’re not a member at the time of the event, we will bill you the difference between the member and nonmember rate. 

MN AMA Event Cancellation Policy
Need to cancel your event registration? We accept cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the event. You must make your request in writing 48 hours prior to the event by email or remit to MN AMA Office. Sorry, we can’t accept phone cancellations. We’ll refund your registration fee after the event. 
Your credit card will be charged if you do not submit your cancellation within the above guidelines.

MN AMA Guest Pass Policy
Current MN AMA members are eligible for two (2) guest passes per year, which allow you to bring a non‐AMA member to one MN Chapter monthly meeting/event for free (events regularly priced up to $50 for nonmembers). Not available for co-promoted events held by other organizations. If the guest becomes an MN AMA member within three (3) months, as the sponsoring MN AMA member you’ll receive one (1) additional guest pass and one (1) complimentary monthly meeting pass to use up to your membership renewal date.

Please call the MN AMA office to register your guests; guest pass registration is unavailable online.

MN AMA Volunteer Pass Policy
If you’re a member of MN AMA, becoming a regular volunteer on one of our committees has its benefits. Our Volunteer Pass to MN AMA events is one of them. To qualify, you must be an MN AMA member and actively serve on one of our committees (this includes attending committee meetings). Committee VPs and Chairs will determine whether you’re active on a quarterly basis.
Depending upon your commitment, here’s what you can get:

• Two (2) free passes to regular monthly chapter events per year for all active MN AMA member volunteers
• One (1) free pass to the Annual Conference for AC Committee Chairs
• One (1) pass at cost for the Annual Conference for AC Committee Members
• One (1) free pass for Burke Institute for the Programming Committee Burke Chair

Not an MN AMA but still volunteer on one of our committees? You’re eligible to attend two (2) regular monthly events at the member price.

MN AMA Cross Promotion Policy
The MN AMA often cross-promotes events that may benefit its members with other associations. This allows the MN AMA to announce events that may benefit members as well as share information about MN AMA events with like-minded organizations.
All cross promotions will be directed to the MN AMA President and VP of Programming for review and approval. The President will determine if the event meets the MN AMA guidelines. If the event does not meet the MN AMA requirements, the President will inform the association requesting the cross-promotion with a verbal or written communication on the reason(s) for the decline.
