Schermer Kuehl, the agency of record for Best Buy's small business and corporate gift card marketing programs, has launched a new integrated campaign to promote Best Buy's Professional Series products and Geek Squad services to small businesses. The national campaign, entitled "Be the One", promises businesses the right products that always work right, and features business-class technology from manufacturers such as HP, Microsoft and other brands.

The campaign, which broke January 18 and is scheduled to run throughout 2009, is running offline in the Wall Street Journal and online in regional businesses-related websites and online publications. Schermer Kuehl was responsible for the campaign's communications strategy, media planning, and creative.

Schermer Kuehl (SK) has been named one of BtoB Magazine’s 2008 Top Agencies in the United States. SK is one of only three Twin Cities agencies on the list, which includes Carlson Marketing and Martin Williams.

Agencies are considered for the honor based on growth, new client acquisition and service expansion. SK scored high in each area, with the addition of Best Buy For Business, Stratasys, Ceridian and Compellent as new clients.

I would like to nominate Kelley Loughrey as an outstanding member. She did such a great job on the annual conference. Much of the work was unseen and unrecognized. Because she took on the role of both president and annual conference VP she went far beyond the role of a member, or that of a board member. She is certainly an unsung hero.
